Collection, Use and Retention of Information
Allen Hoole collects, uses and retains information about you only if it is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary to conduct our business effectively. We will retain your personal data for at least 6 years in accordance with Law Society guidelines and may retain it for longer if the circumstances require. You are entitled to access your data at any time. Requests which are either manifestly unfounded or excessive may be refused or charges may apply. If we refuse, we will tell you why and offer you a right to complain. All requests for data access should be made in writing to the Office Manager.
We will rectify any errors in the personal data we hold upon reasonable requests in writing.
We will transfer your personal data on your request to other Solicitors subject to the approval of the court in cases funded by the Legal Aid Agency.
